Eau Claire Children Photography
Children grow up so fast and are always changing. That's why Forever Photography wants to help parents remember those years through portraits that will last a lifetime. When we do a children's photography session we set aside ample time to ensure you are not rushed during this important process and we are prepared for the unexpected surprises that often accompany a child's demeanor
Our main focus during a children's photography session is to capture their spirit along with their expressions. We specialize in portraits for children of all ages from infant on up. You can choose to have your session in-studio or at a location of your choice within 15 miles of Eau Claire. (Mileage rates apply after 15 miles)
If you need help deciding where to have your session Forever Photography is more than willing to discuss this and offer suggestions. A great location often over-looked is your own home and neighborhood.
Your photographs will be available to view online in a private password protected gallery about 2 weeks after the photography session. When your photographs are ready to view I will email you a password to enter in the viewing gallery section of my website. From there you will be able to place your order and have it sent directly to me. Your online gallery will be available for four weeks. There is a $25 fee to re-publish your gallery if you need longer than four weeks.
At the start of the session I will take sometime to get to know you and your family and let the little ones get acclimated to me. A session can last anywhere from 25 minutes to a few hours. Newborn sessions usually take 2-3 hours depending on the baby.
I typically let children lead the session. I operate on their time and speed, this will allow for the most natural and fun photographs.
A newborn session will involve a little more posing, but we will still go at their speed. I allow plenty of time for feedings, clothing and diaper changes, and, the most important, snuggling. Newborn sessions are best done between birth and 10 days, although I will do newborn sessions up to 4 weeks.
During your session the most important thing is to just be yourself, relax and have fun. We are going to take our time and capture the little things in life because we want to remember those things forever.
